Greetings from the Green Chair!

Greetings from the Green Chair!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

It’s been awhile since my last blog and I will offer no excuses and yes, I know that this is not a Monday which is when I usually post, but Wednesday will have to do.

I have been busy writing, researching publishers, and working on the cover art for the third installment in the Kingdom of Jior series. I hope you are looking forward to reading it as much as I am looking forward to getting it out. The cover art is done! It is spectacular! Done in collaboration with Tatiana Villa at www.viladesign.net I can’t say enough about how pleased I am with the final product.

If you are reading this right now, you’ll be one of the first to know the title of Book Three. Drumroll please… the name of Book Three in the Kingdom of Jior series is… wait for it! Heirs of Jior. For the icing on the cake and the cherry on top, the following is the back-cover synopsis:

Follow the perilous adventures of the Heirs of Jior in the third installment in the Kingdom of Jior series.

Sadness strikes the Royal Family of Jior when the King of Krickgold dies and thus sets off a string of adventures for the Heirs of Jior. Princess Lyra Song of Jior is young and beautiful, stepping into maturity as she and her family attend the funeral of their dear friend. Even during this sad time, she pursues her hopes and dreams endeavoring to explore a betrothal with the Heir of Krickgold. However, when she is mistaken for a witch by a Lord from a neighboring country, her dreams are dangerously interrupted. Waylaid, taken prisoner and thrown into an iron cage, the delicate Princess of Jior is charged with a crime she didn’t commit and she must do whatever it takes to escape or be wrongfully executed.

Prince Vannier of Jior, known to the Ny-Failen as Little Wing, has been devastated by what happened to his sister Lyra Song, but life must go on and he goes forward with his plan to marry Lady Summer Rain, his childhood love. The day of the wedding ceremony he enters his betrothed’s chamber and finds her with another man and now he must face devastating reality and some difficult choices. When Dark Star his younger brother goes missing, Vannier must set aside his own problems to go into the Violent Mountains and find who has taken his little brother. Amidst the turmoil of the hunt, Vannier must face danger, loss, and possible heartbreak.

Dark Star has been changed forever by the events of his capture and, even though rescued, he remains troubled and unable to find peace. The last thing he needs is to follow the pull of a mysterious compelling that is drawing him away from the safety of his home and family. When the compelling becomes too much for him to ignore, he sets off on his own to investigate and finds a black castle, a beautiful sorceress in dire need of his help, and must face a demon from the Hells to free them both. The strength of the compelling and the draw of the sorceress force him to face his worst fears and explore the meaning of true love.

I hope you are intrigued by the synopsis of book three. Rest assured, I’m doing my best to get it published and hope to reveal a publishing date soon! Stay tuned!
